Zaff Rocks.

You can now comment!

February 11, 2019

Hey, I have just added the comments feature to my blog with Disqus! This was one of the easiest implementations. First you register an account on Disqus. Then all you have to do in order to add the Disqus comments on your Gatsby.js blog or a React-powered webpage is to install a disqus-react package and insert few lines of code into your render function and blog’s post page. Installing the disqus-react package took a while for me though, maybe it’s just problem with my machine.

Personally I have followed the instructions of this guy while adding the code to make the comments work, and then I have turned on new cool reactions feature on Disqus admin panel! Go to you disqus account > click on admin button on the right top of page, next to your profile picture > Edit setting (on top right) > Choose the site > Go to reactions tab on the left sidebar menu > Turn reactions on > Enjoy! 😍

And also, the disqus reaction buttons did not fit the width of my blog, so I had to make it wider a bit, because I cannot change styling of disqus itself (I guess). But I hope you have not noticed the change.😄😁
